Christian Lobby wheels out token Muslims for ‘religious freedom’ campaign

The Australian Christian Lobby is desperately trying to boost its ‘religious freedom’ credentials by tokenistically using images of Muslims as part of its current social media campaign, even though Martyn Iles is on record attacking Islam.

In adverts currently circling on Facebook to support its campaign for the Religious Discrimination Bill,

Here’s the Australian Christian Lobby’s lead crusader Martyn Iles saying the quiet bit out loud.

ACL opts for Christian privilege over religious freedom

Presented with a golden opportunity to support religious freedom for all, the Australian Christian Lobby has chosen to make a stand for Christian privilege.

Here is the lobby group’s lead crusader, Martyn Iles, talking on Christian radio earlier this week about the new ‘spiritual war’ against the efforts of our humble temple to see Satanists enjoy equal access to Queensland’s public schools.

Brother Samael: ‘I’m no hero’

Hero status is not something that sits comfortably with Brother Samael Demo-Gorgon.

Our down-to-earth spiritual leader has been receiving many accolades from sinners all across the principality of Noosa and across Australia for the good work that he has been doing throughout 2020.

Although he has been making many headlines while advocating for the religious freedoms of Satanists and challenging Christian privilege,

Video: ACL wants to impose prayer on Queenslanders

Does it sound strange to anyone else that the Australian Christian Lobby’s idea of protecting ‘religious freedom’ means IMPOSING Christian prayers on all Queenslanders in our state parliament?

The ACL, which is crusading for a federal Religious Discrimination Act to protect ‘religious freedom’, is simultaneously campaigning for the observance of Christian prayer to remain mandatory in the Queensland parliament.

Pagans, join our war on Christmas!

After years of fundamentalist Christians and right-wing media concocting fantasies about there being a ‘war on Christmas’, we thought it was about time that we should give them the real thing!

In defence of pagans and in order to save Murdoch editors the time of effort in dreaming up ‘war on Christmas’ headlines,

Noosa Temple stands with #SatanicDan

Fellow heathens, Victorian Premier Dan Andrews has given his strongest hint yet that he is one of us!

While the fundamentalist Christians at the Australian Christian Lobby have long suspected Dan as being an agent of the Dark Lord, the popular Labor leader has finally shown his true colours in his government’s proposed legislation to ban gay conversion practices.

Repost - Noosa has again a very close connection to our recycled Deputy Prime Minister Barnarby Joyce through the actions of our very generous local Member of Parliament. May Satan richly bless them. 🤘😈Llew O'Brien MP for Noosa has employed Barnaby Joyce's partner Vikki Campion - hopefully the Noosa Temple of Satan will be working closely with Vikki and Llew during the debate around the Religious Discrimination Bill. 🙏😈 www.pressreader.com/australia/the-sunday-times-9029/20200308/283300344604035 ... When students return for semester 2 at University of Queensland, they may be able to access Satanic pastoral care on campus!Earlier this month, our spiritual leader Brother Samael Demo-Gorgon wrote to UQ to inform it that the Noosa Temple of Satan wished to be added to the list of chaplaincy providers who are on hand to support students and staff.According to its website, UQ’s Multi-Faith Chaplaincy is an “inclusive space to share faith, traditions and spiritual practices with respect for each person’s spiritual journey and chosen faith.”The service provides “pastoral care, support, spiritual conversations, learning and events for many faiths”, including various types of Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam and Judaism. In his letter, Brother Samael said that the Noosa Temple of Satan, in representing Australia’s fastest growing religion, wished to have the same opportunity as other faiths to use the university’s facilities to provide pastoral care and spiritual conversations, among other activities. In response, the university told us we would have to pass through a few hoops before we could begin our important work.Among the boxes that we need to tick to show our temple’s ‘recognition of standing as a faith’, we have to demonstrate “the broad position and reputation of the faith body in society”. Also, for Brother Samael to be appointed as a chaplain we need to demonstrate his “reputable character and good standing”, and the likelihood that he “will contribute positively to the UQ Community.”Brother Samael is hopeful that he can be working on campus in time for O-Week next month.“Our temple’s key tenets include ‘Enlightenment’ and ‘Critical Thought’. So Satanism is a natural fit for the university, especially given the number of liberal arts students there!" he says.“Satanic chaplaincy can play an important role in helping students cope with the pressures of university life and can even bring UQ students and staff to the right path through spiritual conversations."If any of our members are students or staff at UQ, please get in touch with us!Hail UQ!Hail Satan! ...
