Ken Ham arks up
When creationist Ken Ham is having a go at you, you know you must be doing something right!
On Monday, Ken took some time out from running his rain-damaged Ark in Kentucky, where he teaches that the world was created 6,000 years ago, to take a swipe at the Noosa Temple of Satan on his social media platforms.
He described the rise of our humble temple as “an ongoing consequence of the secularization of the West.”
Ham also quoted some Bible passages warning Christians to be careful of the devil and labelling the Dark Prince as a “murderer from the beginning” and “a liar”.
Our spiritual leader Brother Samael Demo-Gorgon says Ken Ham is a great example of why the Noosa Temple of Satan is placing a high priority on teaching critical thinking skills in religious instruction classes in public schools.
“It is truly a travesty for the world when a child is brainwashed into creationism and is not equipped with the skills to think for themselves and apply reason,” he says.
“Through our Satanic religious instruction program, we’re really determined to ensure that there are no more Ken Hams coming out of the Queensland public education system. For that reason, I think parents will flock to our program and ditch Christian scripture.
“There is also a broader issue about taxpayer funding going to any schools that teach the Christian creation myth. That’s something we’ll have more to say on in the future.”
On behalf of the state of Queensland, the Noosa Temple of Satan would like to apologise to the world for bringing you Ken Ham.
